Supported Databases
Apparo imports all data to your own relational databases and stores it in freely definable database tables.
Apparo can read/write - from/into these databases:
All Apparo definitions (Apps, Business Cases, Forms, Import-Masks) are stored in a database repository.
The following databases are supported for the Apparo repository:
- Apache Derby
- Exasol
- Google BigQuery
- IBM DB2 / IBM DB2 Client
- IBM i Series
- IBM Netezza
- IBM dashDB
- IBM Informix
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Microsoft Azure SQL
- MySQL
- Oracle / Oracle Client
- Oracle Exadata
- Postgres
- SAP HANA
- Snowflake
- Sybase ASE
- Sybase IQ
- Sybase SQL Anywhere
- Teradata
- Trino
All Apparo definitions (Apps, Business Cases, Forms, Import-Masks) are stored in a database repository.

- Internal database (for tests)

Supported Excel formats
Whether old versions, the most current or simplified. Apparo supports all common Excel file formats.
Apparo supports the following formats:
- XLS, Excel files saved with Excel 2003 or older
- XLSX, Excel files saved with Excel 2007 and newer
- CSV, When the data is saved as comma separated format only
- .Excel, If you want to allow the import of all types in one application

No client installations
Client installations can be expensive, which is why Apparo doesn’t require it.
Users work exclusively in a browser.:
- Supported are all current browsers
- Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox and Apple Safari
- No need to install any software, patches or the like
- Your users can start straight away
